Royalty-free sound clips are available for download at various places on the Internet. Since I lack high fidelity recording equipment, I find it better to use these pre-recorded clips in my mixes.
Apologies for the weird and entirely unoriginal title, though this is a unique remix. It brings together two popular songs from entirely different genres, different composers, different orchestration styles, and different pitch and tempo. But they blend into each other miraculously. The originals are Bryan Adams' Summer of 69 and A. R. Rahman's यह जो देस है तेरा (Yeh Jo Des Hai Tera) from the original soundtrack of the movie Swades.
These are some interesting sound effects that I created from sound clips available on the Internet. All I needed was a multi-track audio mixer. Since I've made extensive use of multi-channel audio and panning effects (when a sound moves from one channel to another, giving the effect of motion (e.g. a helicopter that hovers in the sky in circles), this is best listened to on a multi-channel audio system or on headphones. A good subwoofer (LFE) is recommended! :)
